Missionary Trip to El Salvador

Train Them 2 Fish U.K. in collaboration with friends on a humanitarian mission to El Salvador, Central America.

From the United States, Jamaica, and Peru, approximately 35 volunteers embarked on a journey from July 18th to August 1st, 2025, to this picturesque nation. The diverse group included medical professionals such as dentists, dental hygienists, general practitioners, nurses, teachers, and young students. The oldest volunteer was in her 80s, while the youngest was approximately 10 years old.

Operation Uganda Mission Trip

There were 13 volunteers from UK and approximately 18 from US and 2 from Czech Republic and 3 from Tanzania and Congo.

These were supported by an army of local translators, nurses and Pastors.

We give God Thanks for all these individuals who volunteered two weeks from 22nd June to 7th July of their holiday from work  to make a difference in the life of the needy in Uganda.Through our medical missionary work, we treated approximately 1500 persons in the Latylytia medical clinic.  More than 300  people saw our Dentists with many extractions.  More than 200 reading glasses were distributed after appropriate tests. All medications needed were distributed. We also sponsored cases we could not treat to get the necessary help at local hospitals.

Apart from the Medical work at the Clinic each evening our volunteers were involved in carrying the Good News of Salvation through Medical Missionary, and the preaching of the gospel, at 22 different sites.  At the end of two weeks, 190 persons surrendered their lives to Jesus and were baptized. To God be the glory! As the members in Masaka follow up with their Ministry to the newly converted, and those who are not yet baptized, we continue to pray. At many if these sites the campaign has continued during this week.

Visits were made by our volunteers, and significant contributions  given to some Children orphanages. Witnessing  and teaching were also done in nearby schools.

One of the most exciting part of the missionary trip was when 12 members of staff from the Garden Courts Hotel, where we stayed, also surrendered their lives, and were buried in the watery grave of baptism. Based on the testimonies of these staff,  the impact we made during our 2 weeks stay was an inspiration to the decision they made for Christ.

The Bible says In Matthew 9;35-38- The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few” There are people in our communities who are seeking everlasting hope and happiness which can only be achieved through Jesus Christ.

Brethren, let us be encouraged to be witnesses to others in preparation for Jesus’ second coming.
